Bruce Trudgill

Associate Professor in Petroleum Geology, Colorado School of Mines.

Bruce has been actively involved in the applied study of complex structural geology for thirty years, initially at Imperial College and then at the University of Colorado at Boulder and then the Colorado School of Mines. Areas of interest include the geometry and evolution of salt in general and mini-basins in particular, and extensional systems. He has collaborated with industry (including Statoil, Hess, Shell, Pemex) on structural geology projects in the Americas, North Sea and North Africa. Bruce has been an AAPG Distinguished Lecturer.
