World-class training for the modern energy industry

Gary Hampson

Professor of Sedimentary Geology, Imperial College London

Gary is a specialist in siliciclastic sedimentology and an advocate of collaborative, cross-disciplinary research.

After finishing his PhD, Gary was awarded a Research Fellowship by the Royal Society, which

was undertaken at the University of Würzburg, Germany. In 1997 he returned to the UK and began his career at Imperial College London. After a further three years of research, Gary began lecturing.
